Chesham Bois Split-Level Kitchen, Buckinghamshire

We were pleased to work to an interesting brief for our client in Chesham Bois. Our client undertook a rear extension, and there was a 6ft drop between the existing home and the garden. This resulted in the new dining space and bar area being reached by a few steps. We worked to build the kitchen around this; it was a quirky feature and one we don’t tend to work with every day! The kitchen is a ‘Uni Gloss’ kitchen by Schüller, with a lacquer finish. We wanted to utilise all available space in this kitchen, which we certainly achieved. The breakfast bar area looks out into the gardens, and the bar area complete with wine cooler on the lower level adds a quirky touch. Oak Havana Brown recessed cladding was used here, adding further interest. A kitchen like this epitomises what the DAS team can do to fully utilise an  awkward space.
