We are very excited to announce that in January 2018 Design A Space – Kitchens, Bedroom & Interiors of Buckinghamshire has won “Best Of Customer Service Award” on Houzz®, the leading platform for home renovation and design. An experienced team of kitchen, bedroom and interior designers, who are specialists in open plan contemporary design, was chosen by the more than 40 million monthly users that comprise the Houzz community from among more than one million active home building, home improvement and design industry professionals.

“We’re so pleased to award Best of Houzz 2018 to this incredible group of talented and customer-focused professionals, including Design A Space, said Marcus Hartwall, Managing Director of Houzz UK and Ireland. Each of these businesses was singled out for recognition by our community of homeowners and design enthusiasts for helping to turn their home improvement dreams into reality.”

Our New Logo…

Following on from our recent refurbishment works which has allowed us to fully integrate Intoto Kitchens, Amersham with Design A Space, right next door, we are very pleased to announce we are now taking the further exciting step of bringing Intoto Kitchens, Marlow, firmly into the Design A Space family, and rebranding ourselves as Design A Space Kitchens, Bedrooms and Interiors across the showrooms.  Watch out for our new, eye-catching signage and logo which we’re sure will catch your attention!

Having always been independently owned businesses, very little will change in terms of the day-to-day running of the showrooms.  Maree remains the business owner and Director, and Marzia, Setu, Federica and Stephen will continue to devote themselves to what they do best – designing for our valued clients, with a distinctly personal touch. Suk, as Operations Manager, carries out the important roles of processing orders and co-ordinating our fitting schedules, and Paul remains our head fitter, alongside a very able group of associated companies and sub-contracted tradespeople who we successfully work alongside on a regular basis.

In terms of the range of products we have available, the familiar names will remain – Neff, Miele, Siemens, Blanco, Amtico, Silestone, and the list goes on. For kitchen furniture, we will have a much-enhanced range of cabinetry from both German and British manufacturers, including Schuller, next125, Rempp, Kesseler and Mereway – all quality, rigid-built, glued and dowelled furniture, with scope to fulfill everyone’s tastes, whether the preference is for cutting edge contemporary design or timeless, classic, framed styles.

Kitchens will remain a key aspect of Design A Space, with space planning, interior design, lighting design and furniture specification, following closely. A new and exciting branch of the business is bedroom design, with ranges of furniture which are of an excellent quality, on a par with our quality kitchens. In time, we plan to introduce a bedroom display in our showroom … watch this space! But, in the meantime, we have a fabulous range of door samples at hand, to help with selections.
